The ability to own a real classic piece of art may have just become easier with the Third Place NFT. Releasing their Renoir Masterpiece, fractionalized.
Pitsberg, Russia will be hosting an auction in the form of a finite series of NFT tokens. NFT platform The Third Place publicised the launch of their collection of actual masterpieces “The Greatest Works of Art”. French artist Pierre Auguste Renoir will take the first spot. 125 year old masterpiece “Double Portrait of Jeanne Baudot” is to sell. Renoir applied pigment with lively brushstrokes that captured flickering light. It was originally painted 125 years and his style is still visable.
Renoir’s masterpiece divides in to 1125 limited NFT tokens. In addition, the buyers will gain rights to use the painting, exclusive rights to digital copies of the NFTs, as well as non-exclusive rights to a full digital copy of the famous artist’s painting.
The Third Place NFT have used this project to carry out their mission of collecting the largest collection of classical art. Similary, they aim to make art accessible to everyone. The Third Place locates world famous art objects, verifies their authenticity in partnership with a number of museums and with the help of NFT technology. Lastly, the art object is ready to buy.
