Did you wander around Museumplein, Amsterdam on December 9-10th? Then you may have seen a mirrored hexagon with red neon light lacing the edges. If not, no qualms as this physical launch is now living at Moco Museum as a fixed feature. This portal-like structure was the first look into Don Diablo’s metaverse.
Firsty, this isn’t his first rodeo with NFTs. Releasing an hour long concert named ‘Destination Hexagonia,’ A sci-fi inspired film created with 3D rendered characters and sets. After that, it sold for $1.2 million. He worked with videographer Paul Snijder. The first concert experience to be sold was The drop from Destination Hexagonia.
His new venture is reaching heights. Project ‘HΞXHIBIT III‘ selling as a digital collectable and a real-world counterpart. However, with his last NFT gaining such respect, it will be exciting to see where ‘HΞXHIBIT III‘ will take him.
Moco Museum will be the new home for ‘HΞXHIBIT III‘. In additon, art pieces from the likes of Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Hosting the loved Banksy and Salvador Dali exhibition.
In conclusion, the metaverse art piece stationed at Moco Museum brings together art and music. A warmly welcomed piece in Amsterdam. If you’re interested click here
