Doodles have proven to be one of the biggest NFT collections in the space. Now they are releasing a companion NFT: Space Doodles, which will be available to all holders for free. This is similar to what Bored Ape Yacht Club did with their extremely successful Mutant Apes.
About Space Doodles NFT
Space Doodles will be released to all current holders of Doodles. The number of holders currently sits at around 5700. The launch was announced by one of the Doodles’ founders, @poopie_cat on Twitter.
Each Space Doodle is backed 1:1 by its counterpart Doodle, only one can exist in holders wallets at any time and they can be wrapped/unwrapped at any time.
The tech they’re using is wrapped NFTs, which they claim to have improved. These wrapped NFTs were originally brought in by CryptoKitties during the Doodles’ founder’s time at CK.
This wrapped Doodle means you can either have a regular Doodle, or Space Doodle in your wallet at any time. This could add some scarcity, therefore potentially increasing the value of both collections.
Doodles is a blue-chip NFT project who joined Twitter in June 2021. Since then, they have grown a massive audience of 143,000 followers alongside a Discord community filled with 26,000 engaged and active members.
Doodles is a collection of 10,000 NFTs with around 5700 owners. The current floor price sits at 11.9 ETH (over $36,000), which has grown massively over the past month or so in the NFT bull-run.
Their community is also extremely supportive of the project. Many celebrities also hold a Doodle. These include Steve Aoki, GaryVee, and many more.
Doodles seem to be doing more and more every day, including the introduction of space doodles, to cement themselves as a blue-chip NFT collection and become competitors for the throne to some of the biggest NFT collections like Cryptopunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club.
